The sun is rising! POLYTEC invests in photovoltaics.

Christian Buchegger, Head of Infrastructure & Maintenance Management and Project Manager: "We aim to generate up to 10 GWh of "green electricity" from the group-wide photovoltaic systems on our factory roofs in the future. By equipping our headquarters with the new photovoltaic power plant, the first step has now been taken towards emission-free and sustainable energy generation, which will make a significant contribution to C0₂-neutral production at POLYTEC in the future.”

Already at the end of this year, the next photovoltaic facility will be completed at the Wolmirstedt/Germany site with a total electrical output of 614 kWp. Concrete project plans for further locations are now in full swing.
