INNOVATIVE COLLABORATION AGREED

Austrian start-up BOOXit has developed sustainable, networkable logistics boxes that combine physical durability with digital intelligence. Thanks to container networking, stackability and high load capacity, the boxes offer an efficient, industry-independent solution for optimising modern supply chains. The innovative concept promises considerable future potential and motivated the two plastics specialists HAIDLMAIR and POLYTEC to recently agree on a collaboration with BOOXit.

STRONG PARTNERS FROM UPPER AUSTRIA

DRIVING INNOVATION FORWARD

With their many years of international expertise in the field of technical plastics, POLYTEC and HAIDLMAIR are supporting the start-up in the successful implementation of its projects. The international focus of the collaboration is proving to be a decisive success factor, particularly in view of existing enquiries from the EU and overseas. All three partners are active in the Upper Austrian economic region and demonstrate how regional collaboration can drive innovation.

HAIDLMAIR is one of the world's leading manufacturers of high-performance injection moulding tools for a wide range of applications. The sophisticated design of BOOXit's logistics boxes places special demands on tool technology. HAIDLMAIR can draw on many years of experience in handling complex projects to meet these requirements.

POLYTEC is an international developer and producer of high-quality plastic solutions for the automotive industry and an established partner for the manufacture of reusable returnable packaging. The listed company has already produced over 100 million reusable logistics boxes, particularly for food logistics, and will continue to focus on the growth of sustainable reusable systems for other industries in the future.

SUSTAINABLE REUSABLE SYSTEM

WITH GREAT FUTURE POTENTIAL

As part of the new collaboration with BOOXit, HAIDLMAIR is contributing its comprehensive toolmaking expertise as the exclusive tool supplier for the innovative BOOXit boxes. POLYTEC is using its comprehensive industrialisation expertise and broad material and manufacturing know-how to support BOOXit in gaining market access with series-ready boxes, enabling market tests and thus accelerating the path to market maturity.

As the project is still in the development phase, no information on volumes can be provided at this time. However, the contractual partners are convinced that the expansion of sustainable reusable systems offers considerable market potential.

We look forward to contributing our industrialisation and manufacturing expertise to this collaboration. The BOOXit product impresses with its well-thought-out functionality and impressive focus on the needs of cross-industry customers. We consider its potential to be extremely promising.
