Today’s general meeting of POLYTEC HOLDING AG at its headquarter in Hörsching (Austria) has decided unanimously for both, the members of the supervisory board proposed for re-election, as well as the persons proposed by the shareholder PT Automotive Consulting GmbH.

Sales of the POLYTEC GROUP increased in the first six months of the current financial year 2007 by 1.3% to EUR 286.7 million compared with the same period 2006.

POLYTEC HOLDING AG announced that the competition authorities have approved the acquisition agreed on March 29, 2007 of 100% of the share capital of the moulding business of MENZOLIT FIBRON GmbH without any conditions. The transaction has been closed on Friday. It was agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

POLYTEC HOLDING AG today announced the consolidated revenues for the POLYTEC GROUP year end 2006 as well as the order intake 2006 of the AUTOMOTIVE SYSTEMS DIVISION. Group sales 2006 increased by 4.5 % to EUR 525 million. Orders received by AUTOMOTIVE SYSTEMS DIVISION amounts to EUR 68 million.

POLYTEC HOLDEN (UK), a production plant of the CAR STYLING DIVISION, has been honoured by LOTUS CARS with the SUPPLIER AWARD. The award has been given to POLYTEC HOLDEN for it’s high quality in production and logistics for the rear spoiler of the LOTUS EXIGE.

The POLYTEC GROUP has been nominated series supplier for the headliner for the new VW POLO. The order volume amounts to €6 million p.a. The headliner will be produced in the version for normal roofs and panorama glass roofs from 2008 at the company's production site in Zaragoza, Spain.

The POLYTEC GROUP is one of the top ten suppliers for the new Volkswagen TDI generation of engines fitted with “Common Rail Technology“. Volkswagen has appointed the POLYTEC GROUP to develop the new Common Rail cylinder head covers on account of its highly flexible approach and comprehensive technical concepts. The planned order value amounts to EUR 19.5 million per year from the commencement of production.
